ADVANCED TWO - NEWSPAPER SUMMARY

Dear class:


As a follow up to the summary on Evolution, I would like you to produce a 1-2 paragraph summary of any newspaper or magazine article for Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008. This is how we will begin our morning class next Wednesday.

- Find any relevant article of your interest in a newspaper or magazine between Monday-Tuesday of next week

- Summarize the article in 1-2 paragraphs

- Print this info, and bring it for discussion on Wednesday morning

This activity will recycle summary writing informaly, and will serve as a pre-activity for Wednesday's class.

I hope you are enjoying this sunny weekend. Friday was a busy day, but I think we managed it pretty well. Don't you think?

I forgot to tell you about the Fireworks International Competition. This is a cool event held in Montreal every summer.
